iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus and iPhone X are all fast-charge capable, allowing users to achieve up to fifty percent charge in 30 minutes with the right cable and power adapter.
According to Apple’s support document, fast-charging your iPhone 8, iPhone 8 Plus, iPhone X or any iPad Pro requires one of the compatible wall chargers listed below:
You’ll also need an Apple USB-C to Lightning cable to connect your device to a charger.
Apple’s chargers are pretty pricey, but some reviewers have successfully used several USB-PD-compatible Android chargers to fast-charge their iPhone 8.
If I were you, however, I’d steer away from cheap Chinese no-name chargers.
You could damage your iPhone or completely kill the battery using them. I know MFi-certified chargers carry a premium price tag, but I’m cool with that knowing they’ve passed Apple’s stringent “Works With iPhone” self-certification test.
