Tough times don't define you, they refine you.
I haven't met anyone who has a trouble free life. When looking at some people you might be so convinced that their lives are so perfect but trust me, in one way or another, everyone is fighting a battle of their own. Some people are just better at hiding it than others. Everyone has a story they do not read out loud.
Here are some tips on how to finesse tough times like a boss:
Realize that life is not all sunshine and rainbows
Don't be intimated. Problems are normal.
Grow through what you go through
I think tough times are a great opportunity to come face to face with things that make you uncomfortable- about yourself, life, and anything that concerns you. If you have to cry then do that! Don't run away or try to "tone down" the process. Take time to reflect, be honest and deal with issues one by one. You'll thank yourself later.
Focus on yourself
Sounds cliche but this is so very important. Think of it like this: you know yourself best. Even in confusing times, I believe that in your heart you always know what will give you peace and calm. Tune out on "what will people think" and listen to your intuition, that gut feeling, cos it's hardly ever wrong. Be intentional about avoiding drama. Take care and be extra patient with yourself. Rome wasn't built in a day!
Look extra fabulous
" Don't tell your problems to people: eighty percent don't care; and the other twenty percent are glad you have them"
This also goes with how you look. Not everybody has to know that you're going through the most! Flex!
Find a safe place
The point here is to avoid habits that will send you further "down the rabbit hole". Your safe place could be your favorite sports, journaling, playing an instrument, or anything artistic that will help you express your emotions constructively. If you're a spiritual person then this is also the perfect time to pray, reconnect to your Higher Power/ God.
Get out!
Literally, go outside! There is so much adventure and beauty to be seen in the world. Go find things and places that make you curious and in awe
This doesn't have to be anything huge. Set small daily goals and tick them off as the day goes. This is guaranteed to make you feel like a boss!
Kind Acts
Shift the focus from yourself a little and do something that will make someone else's life better. It will come back to you multiplied :)
Keep good company
The people around you will either drain you or build you up. You choose.
Time
In due time, things will fall into place.

I hope you found this helpful.
Sending you all my love and positive vibes!
