If you have been waiting to get your hands on a 2019 13- or 15-inch MacBook Pro, maybe a refurbished model is the way to go.
Which means Apple has some options for you. As noted first by MacRumors on Tuesday, Apple is now selling both the 13- and 15-inch MacBook Pro from 2019 in the online refurbished store. The availability is only in the United States, and this brings a relatively steep discount to Apple’s newest MacBook Pro models.
At the time of publication, each of the discounted models are tagged with a 15 percent decrease on price. As noted in the original report, the 13-inch MacBook Pro with the 2.4GHz processor and 256GB of built-in storage is available for $1,529 — down from $1,799 for a brand new model.
It is worth noting that the 13-inch entry-level MacBook Pro isn’t available through the refurbished program just yet. That’s the one that Apple launched in July. However, the high-end model launched in May is part of the refurbished list.
Next-day delivery is available for some orders, and all the discounted models are available to start shipping immediately.
Here’s how Apple describes its refurbished units:
All refurbished Mac models are backed by a one-year warranty, have free delivery and returns, and also include:
  • Full functional testing, genuine Apple part replacements (if necessary), and a thorough cleaning
  • The original Operating System or a more recent version1
  • All refurbished devices are repackaged in a brand new box with all accessories and cables
Now that the select 2019 MacBook Pro models are available as refurbished units, do you plan on picking one up?
