Recipe: Chocolate Oats

Are you all crazy about overnight snacks? This chocolate variant really is really a winner.

Ingredients (for two servings)

200g of Greek yoghurt
180 milliliters of almond milk
100 grams of oatmeal
2 tablespoons of  honey
50 grams of (shredded) dark chocolate
1/2 teaspoon of vanilla powder
1/2 teaspoon of cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon of nutmeg

Preparation

1. Mix the Greek yoghurt and almond milk in a bowl until well blended.

2. Add the oatmeal, honey, vanilla powder, cinnamon and nutmeg. Stir it thoroughly.

3. Grate the dark chocolate and add 30 grams of it to the mixture. Keep the other 20 grams separated from the mixture. These 20 grams will be used tomorrow.

4. Stir everything and put it in a sealed container. Then, put it in the refrigerator for at least 4 hours and up to 24 hours.

5. Remove it from the refrigerator in the morning and sprinkle the 20 grams of chocolate on top of it. (Optional: you could also add strawberries and other delicious fruits to your oatmeal!)
