Donate your old clothes

Some families simply do not have sufficient money to buy clothes. Therefore, giving away clothes you don't use anymore that are still in excellent condition is not a bad idea.

Visit someone in a nursing home 

Many elderly people are lonely. Nobody ever goes to visit them or sits down to chat with them. As a result people, these people become very isolated. Go visit a retirement home and spend some time with it's lonely residents. If you visit regularly, you'll give them something to look forward to.

Smile more

"Smile and the world smiles with you!" That quote says it all. When you smile at someone, that person will smile back. They say that laughter is contagious. Let's test it together!

Pay the bill for the person behind you at the drive-through

Imagine what it would be when you arrive at window #1 and your large menu with french fries and diet coke has already been paid for. What would it make you feel like? Now imagine that you are the one who pays for the order of the person behind you, knowing what he or she feels like when they find out. Everyone is happy! How awesome is that?!

Write down all the things you are grateful for

It's not always about what and how much you do for others that makes you a good person. Also take the time to write down and to think of the things that you have, such as your health, family, job, house, etc. When you've had a bad day, reading all things can quickly make you feel happy again!

Treat yourself every now and then

Working hard to achieve your goals is very good, but you must also take the time to reward yourself. Get in the bathtub, put on soothing music and RELAX! Or treat yourself with a movie night with a plate of sushi and a bowl of Ben & Jerry's!
